Conceived, project managed and curated by Simon Grennan in collaboration with Clifton Park Museum, Dishes of Rotherham unites 10 cooks of Rotherham with the Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage collection of Rockingham crockery. Each cook was challenged to prepare and present food on their selected pieces of Rockingham crockery. The project celebrates food in contemporary culture, providing a new context in which to engage the public with, and explore an important historical archive. This project was published as a book (Grennan, S., Dishes of Rotherham 2022, ISBN: 978 1 8384926) and was exhibited at Clifton Park Museum, Rotherham from December 2022 to May 2023.
